Olmert’s Motorcade Hits 10 Year Old Girl

No news here. He has been running over Israeli citizens ever since he became Prime Minister. Just another day.

"Prime minister's motorcade hits, wounds Jerusalem girl" from Haaretz:

A vehicle in Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's motorcade on Thursday evening hit a 10-year-old girl near the entrance to Jerusalem.

The girl was lightly wounded and taken for medical treatment at Hadassah University Hospital, in Ein Karem, Jerusalem.

According to Shin Bet regulations, the motorcade is not allowed to stop at red lights while transporting the prime minister, in order to avert potential assassination attempts.

Police sources said that the motorcade drove through a red light while the girl was crossing on green.

One question. The PM's office claims that Olmert did not know of the incident until he returned to his office since one of the cars that was following him hit the girl. That would mean that the girl saw the cars flying by and then stepped into the street between them. That is a bit hard to believe. It is much more logical that she was hit by the lead car.

Another Olmert cover-up??? What is there to hide?
