Iran: Searching For a Lost Puppy is "Moral Corruption"
Just when you think you heard it all from Iran, something like this comes along. "Iran: Search for lost dog leads to arrest" from AKI:
Tehran, 3 August (AKI) - A young Iranian who was searching for his lost puppy in a Tehran neighborhood has been arrested and ordered to stand trial for 'moral corruption'.This truly is a lost lot.
According to the Tehran daily, Etemad Melli, the young man was caught while putting up a notice in which he was promising a reward to anyone who found his dog.
"Looking for a lost dog indicates the spread of a corrupt culture, which indirectly popularises keeping a dog at home, something that is completely foreign to the culture and Isamic tradition," said Tehran police spokesman, Mehdi Ahmadi.
"In arresting this young man, we wanted to send a very clear message to our young people, you need to steer away from the corrupt culture imported from the west."

How can anyone hate puppies?! What the hell's wrong with those folks?!
All the false information about Islam being anti animals specially dogs is ridiculous, if it was that how come a whole chapter of the Quran is dedicated for a story of the good pure sheperds and their dog who accompanied them everywhere and stayed with them every where including the cave where they went to hide from injustice and the dog was god's example as those people too. In another chapter god describes all animals including dogs to be EQUAL to people and are communities like them, Prophet mohamed clearly and bluntly prohibited killing the dogs except for the ones with rabies, even when dogs attacked residents of his city .The moslem heritage but not in Iran is full of names and places where there were public shelters for stray animals , hospitals for cats, and people leaving trusts for stray dogs, cats and horse and donkeys shelters, the culture of some country does not reflect the true understanding of Islam and mingles their cultural heritage with islamic beliefs giving very weird information on islam.Those people in Iran need to read the islamic history and interpretation more clearly and not to use forged HADITH.
